Eagles,

We were designed to soar! It is for this reason Apostle Paul revealed to Corinthians that “…we all, seeing the Glory of the LORD with unveiled faces…are being transformed into the same Image from Glory to Glory by the Spirit of the LORD” (2 Corinthians 3:18 MEV emphasis added).

How does this transformation occur? Prophet Isaiah declared that “…those who wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength…mount up with wings as eagles…run and not be weary…walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31 MEV). So we are brought to the waiting room for an upgrade – a stripping away of the old and the frail. When the upgrade is complete we are reset – renewed with strength. Then we are released to another dimension of Glory – mounted up as eagles.
Although waiting on YHVH is time consuming, we are placed in a season of waiting to be perfected. Waiting on the LORD is not equivalent to being stagnant. For it is not the will of God for us to be stagnant! This waiting is used to flush us, conform us and equip us; our waiting is for transformation. The wait you are currently in is not for your destruction; it is the desire of the LORD to bring you to the Image of His Glory. So allow God to strip away the old and frail things of your life. He will renew your strength and set you on the pinnacle He has built you for.


Oftentimes when we hear of an upgrade we readily think of the increasing or improving aspect. Yet in the natural, when a vehicle is taken to the mechanic for an upgrade it is taken apart. The mechanic purposely takes it apart for its own benefit. Apparently to onlookers, it might seems as if it is being destroyed, but in the eyes of the mechanic it is being done for better functionality. After he has stripped away the old malfunctioning pieces and replaced them with pieces which are more efficient, he puts it back together for a more glorious display of competence. Likewise, God Omniscient places us in the wait to strip us of the old, reset us with His vigour so we can be released to bask in the Glory He predestined us for. We must understand that before we can encounter an increase, we will experience a decrease. Furthermore, the longer the wait, the higher we are made to climb. At such a dimension soaring is effortless; we are enabled an agility which causes us to excel. As Prophet Isaiah reveals, we run without being weary and walk without being affected by faintness.

Now I say unto you, be not dismayed or disheartened because of the wait. It was designed with your best interest at heart. It was set in motion to catapult you to another dimension of My Glory. Have I not said that I will do a new thing and it shall suddenly spring forth? The wait is for your advantage. It is as a result of it that you are catapulted to soar. The enemy seeks to magnify the wait to make it strenuous because he knows that which I have for you and have spoken about you is true. Be not deceived by his devices. The longer the wait, the higher the climb. Do not fix your eyes on the time; fix your eyes on Me. Furthermore, look into My eyes and behold the splendour of My Glory to which I am bringing you in this hour.
